Ergodex's Magnum Opus

Ergodex's Magnum Opus

I don't think I've ever been excited about peripherals in my entire life: "Yay, a mouse with a wheel." "Ouuuuu, a vibrating controller." The guys over at Erodex changed all that! This new peripheral will change the face of input devices forever. This tiny, fledgling company full of young guys with ambition have created the Ultimate Customizable Keyboard. Known as the DX1, this device allows people to record macros into a virtually unlimited number of removable/completely moveable keys. For PC gaming this means: No more finger acrobatics when playing a First-Person Shooter! For console gaming this means: NO MORE LAME CONTROLLER! That's right. This device is USB and the guys over at Ergodex will most likely be pursuing the console market, which will allow the XBox & PS2 crowd a level playing field when facing their PC counterparts! The prototype unit they had on display was very intuitive to acclimate to. I was blasting away in UT2004 better than I do with my own Keyboard in no time. To limit this device to just gaming won't show you what it's truly capable of: you can record an unbelievably long string of keystrokes to: save passwords, save entire Word Documents and even intricate keystrokes for 3D Apps like CAD and 3D Studio MAX! Not to mention 2D Apps like Photoshop and Flash. Check out their website at: Ergodex for more information.
